STYLE GURU BIO: Claudia Williams

Hey, hey, hey readers, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I’m Claudia, a polka-dot obsessed blogger, collector and student from the Midwest. I have loved spunky fashion ever since I could remember, and never thought I could make a career and life out of it. But here I sit as a college fashionista for my second semester. I am gaining experience in this field every day, writing about it and exploring different styles. Falling in love with fashion happened from the minute I was little, and now I get to embrace those childhood ambitions. Dreams really do come true; who knew?

My style inspiration comes from all over. There is no specific style I constantly wear and my wardrobe is changing every day. One day you could see me wearing a tulle skirt and heels, and the next you might find me in combat boots and a grungy T-shirt. I think it’s fun to switch it up, because wearing the same thing every day is just not my thing. My life is a constant game of dress-up, and I could not be happier about that. I adore kate spade’s girly style, vintage A-line skirts inspired by Sandy from Grease and even leather pants. My style is all over the map.

Speaking of skirts, this one is a new staple in my fall wardrobe. It is a camel colored suede mini skirt, with buttons up the front. I can see myself wearing it with so many different things and changing the style of it from day-to-night. I paired it with one of my favorite white, cropped tank tops and loved the contrast between the two styles and colors. I finished the look with a pair of black booties and a polka-dot handbag made by my favorite lady, kate spade.

Skirts like this are very on-trend this season, and can be found everywhere in different textures and styles. I love there versatility of them, which is a necessity for me because I love wearing things multiple times in different ways. I tossed on some simple gold and black jewelry to finish the look and tie in all of the accessories. This outfit was the perfect transition into fall, the best season of the whole year.
