STYLE GURU BIO: Catelyne Snitker

My name is Catelyne Snitker, and I am beginning my sophomore year at the University of Missouri- Columbia, also known as Mizzou. I’m a Strategic Communications major and Textile and Apparel Management minor. I was a Style Guru during the summer season, and I could not be more excited to continue being one this fall! The sense of community and inspiration that I draw from CollegeFashionista is incredible.

Fall is my favorite season for fashion. That’s why I’m so incredibly happy to continue showcasing the great trends on campus this season. Whether it’s a sweater, a pair of boots or a scarf, I’m all about wearing it. Any chance I get to layer, you know I’ll be taking it. That’s why I chose this particular outfit. My favorite layering trend for the fall is for sure going to be a lace bralette paired with a sweater. I got my bralette from Aerie and threw on a black v-neck sweater from H&M. To further layering even more, I grabbed this pretty olive vest. Boyfriend jeans are a must for any time of year, so I knew they would be the best transition from the summer to fall season. Of course, fall is all about the boots—knee-high boots, ankle booties, combat boots—so I grabbed my favorite pair of black booties from Target. What’s an outfit without some accessories, right? I kept my jewelry minimal by wearing a dainty, silver necklace and some hoop earrings.

I hope you enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy writing them! I can’t wait to see what this semester, and beyond, has in store for me here at CollegeFashionista.
