STYLE GURU BIO: Briana Andreoli

Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Briana and this is my third semester writing for CollegeFashionista. I’m super pumped to be a returning Style Guru and can’t wait to find more fashionable students on the Sacred Heart University campus. It’s hard to believe that I am going to be a junior already when it seems like just yesterday I was moving in as a freshman. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to a great semester and can’t wait to see these fall trends.

It seems that everyone loves fall fashion! I’m sure that I’ll be seeing cozy sweaters, riding boots and warm scarves everywhere during this upcoming season. Considering many college students start classes in August, we still have a little while until these fall staples are appropriate to wear. I go to school in Connecticut, and it could still be 85 degrees throughout the month of September. So now that it’s still hot outside, I’ll be rocking my shorts for as long as I can.

To start off this look, I paired this chambray, off-the-shoulder top with some black fabric shorts. I love the tie detailing on the sleeves and chose black bottoms instead of white to make the look more fall appropriate. To match the chambray top, I chose to wear chambray slip-on shoes which are really comfortable for walking around campus. I accessorized with some black and gold bracelets and a gold multi-layered necklace. I love multi-layered necklaces or mixing necklaces of different lengths for an interesting look. To continue with the black and gold accessories, I chose this black tote bag with gold detailing and black and gold sunglasses. I kept my makeup simple and hair in a topknot bun so it could stay out of my face and keep me cool during this hot weather.

Be sure to follow me to stay updated with all the fashionable students of Sacred Heart University. Hope everyone has a RAD semester!
