Hi Fashionista/os! My name is Ashley Mascolo and I am a sophomore at Sacred Heart University where I am a Marketing major. This is my second semester as a Style Guru and I could not be more excited.
I am from a small beach community on Long Island, and after being home for the summer and seeing the styles of the casual beach goers, going back to school will bring fun new styles I cannot wait to see! This semester I am so excited to be able to capture the unique styles of Sacred Heart students. There are so many different types of people around campus, each with their own sense of fashion. I am particularly excited to be reunited with my extremely fashionable sorority sisters. They have all inspired my personal style in so many ways, shaping not only my style, but me as a person. With so many events coming up on campus this semester, I know there will be ample fashion trends waiting to be documented.
As for my own personal style, I like to wear anything comfortable. Loose pants, flowy dresses and oversized sweaters are some of my favorite things to wear. With fall approaching, I will be able to break out my comfy favorites, too! While I love an excuse to get dressed up and take pictures, I spend a lot of my time in workout clothes.
In this outfit, I am wearing one of my favorite articles of clothing; soft pants. They are so comfortable while still looking put together. I paired these soft, maroon pants with a simple white tank top. I have been super into long flowy ponchos and sweaters lately, so I layered this simple outfit with a textured poncho. To finish off my outfit, I am wearing a pair of black booties, a fun layered gold necklace and my watch.
