Hey! My name is Alexis O’Keefe and I am senior at Florida State University. I am super stoked to begin my fourth semester with CollegeFashionista. I had the amazing opportunity to intern in the New York City CollegeFashionista office this summer and the experience has opened my eyes to the many possibilities of the fashion industry. I am coming back from summer with an open mind and with a hunger to capture the raddest fashions that Florida State has to offer.
I am always speechless when it comes to describing my own style. I say that because one day you can find me rocking a baseball jersey and a cap but the next day I’ll be the queen of bohemian-chic in a precious tunic. While the two looks are on complete opposite sides of the spectrum, I find myself being able to relate to facets of both. You can call me a nomad of style. For me, it all comes to down to my mood and the music I have been listening to. If I get dressed in the morning while listening to J.Cole, which is quite often, then I will most likely be leaving the house rocking the athleisure trend in an oversized graphic T-shirt. The matter of the fact is I am heavily influenced by the music I listen to. It is the place where I draw most of my wardrobe inspiration. I mean, just try to tell me A$AP Rocky isn’t killing the fashion game right now.
There is no way I will let my senior year fall flat. With the buzz of the big city still ringing in my head, I am ready to make this year the raddest. Bring it on, FSU!
