STYLE GURU BIO: Abigail Bizzarro

Hello, Fashionistas and Fashionistos of the internet! My name is Abby Bizzarro and this is my second semester as a Style Guru. I currently attend Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and I am a Marketing and Communications double major. I am super excited to continue this internship into my sophomore year at SJU, and give you all a little peek inside the trends and styles that walk around the SJU campus!

First things first, I love eating food and buying shoes. If I could do both, simultaneously, all the time, I would do it. Shoes just speak to my soul; it does not matter if they are wedges, sneakers, stilettos or booties, I do not discriminate. Along with my love for shoes, I love sushi, tea and reading the Harry Potter series over and over again. I am also an avid thrift shopper! I get an amazing high from treasure hunting for hours in flea markets and little street stores, looking for that one unique piece that just speaks to me!

My style is very laid back and casual; it is a mix between an off-duty model style and sporty-chic. My style has definitely progressed and evolved throughout the years, and looking back, I am extremely grateful it has. I can remember wearing some wacky combinations and thinking they were actually suitable for public. Many people gave me the “what is she wearing?” look, and I don’t blame them!

Now, my closet is filled with high-quality, basic staple pieces that I know I can pair with any outfit. It has taken a more minimalistic turn with a little edge in the middle. Almost every day you can see me wearing a pair of jeans, like this mauve motorcycle pair I have on. What I love about this pair of jeans is the ribbed detailing on the thigh, giving it a little edge. I pair my jeans with a simple white tank top with black detailing on the neckline. I pulled the look together with my new favorite pair of summer sandals. They are crisscrossed stapes with a snakeskin print. These sandals instantly bring any outfit up to the next level, and that is what I love about them! Not to mention, they are super comfortable for walking from class to class.

My daily outfits are pretty much the same with little variations mixed in! I love walking around campus, getting inspiration and seeing all the fresh new styles that are walking around. I am excited to share those styles and trends with you guys during this coming semester!
