STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Shut Up And Romper With Her

It’s not a dress, and it’s not a two-piece shirt and short set; it’s a romper! Rompers are the best thing since the Justin Bieber Roast, especially for you Fashionistas out there who are just as short as I am, and can’t handle the stress of finding a dress that you’re not being eaten alive by. They’re flirty and fun, and more than often, they’re pretty dang short so they work well for people of any height and body size. They come in any and every pattern imaginable, making them easy to wear to the beach, or to the bar on a girl’s night out.

But what is it about rompers that have people so addicted? For me, it’s the fact that they cinch in at the waist so perfectly to create that ideal hourglass figure. Aside from that, rompers with straps are almost always adjustable so you can fit it the way that works on your body shape best, and since plenty of them are strapless, then there’s not even the need. They’re incredibly comfortable, and provide the chicness of a dressy look. They’re essential for the spring season, especially when you choose styles that are as bright and cheerful as my Fashionista’s this week.

This Fashionista donned a romper in my favorite color this week: a deep, bright pink. Talk about being girly. This spring season is all about straying away from too much unoriginal floral, and focusing on the bright colors of the ‘70s, and this romper is exactly what the fashion doctor ordered. The romper is adjusted to the degree of her body shape, and creates that hourglass figure. She paired it with a simple pair of flip flops, which is great for a sunny day of class. If she were to wear this out, a pair of stylish heels would embellish the outfit quite well. She accessorized with a great pair of aviators, and trendy rings for some hand candy. If you love this look so much and want to try something even riskier, check out jumpsuits for an even classier look.

What’s your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? Rompers with cutouts will make a huge statement this season, so don’t be afraid to get a little risqué with some color!”
