When I stumbled across this Fashionista on an overcast fall morning, I knew she had to be featured in my next article. I’ve always been a huge fan of being comfortable while staying stylish and on trend, and this outfit achieves that and more. I can totally see myself wearing this to study sessions, class and even shopping trips.
One thing that really sold me on this look is the shoes because I’m such a sucker for cute booties. When I asked this Fashionista about them she told me they’re actually rain boots and I don’t know about you, but these are the most stylish rain booties I’ve ever seen. In addition to her amazing shoes, she wore these great dark wash skinny jeans that would work with so many different personal styles. Dark high waisted denim can be so flattering to any body type and they’re versatile too—they can be worn with crop tops and regular length tops alike.
The shirt this Fashionista wore really stuck with me because many of us (me included!) shy away from horizontal stripes in fear of looking wide. She rocked it though and gave fresh life to such a classic looking piece. What really tops this whole look off is the jewelry she picked because not only does it add a personal touch, but it’s still completely on trend by mixing different types of metals. When I asked what each piece meant to her she told me she had picked up the necklace in Israel this summer on her Birthright trip, and her bracelets were different bangles from Alex & Ani that she’s received as gifts over the years.
All in all, this outfit strikes the perfect combination of classic and trendy while remaining effortless. I’m definitely taking a note from this Fashionista and investing in some cute rain boots before the weather starts changing!
