STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Fringe Fever

September 8th, 2015 at 2:10am

Fall is right around the corner and we all cannot wait to start showing off our best fall looks. Dark colors and vests are always a good option for the season and this Fashionista composed a super trendy look to inspire us this autumn!

The Fashionista wanted to create an urban cool style so she opted for darker colors with a gentle pop of color. She wore a gray maxi dress, a black vest with fringe, black ankle booties and a gold and turquoise necklace. Needless to say, she rocked her look. The fringe detailed black vest is a must have piece in your wardrobe. It goes well with many looks and can truly brighten up any outfit. I liked how the Fashionista chose a simple gray maxi dress to go with this fun vest and compose a more eclectic yet simple look. From pants and shorts to a dress or overalls, almost anything looks good with this black vest.

I also loved how the Fashionista invested on accessories and a powerful pair of boots to complete her look. The gold and turquoise necklace was exactly what she needed to finish her outfit since it gave it a simple, but necessary pop of color. And as you may already know, it is always a good idea to wear a statement necklace to give more life to an outfit. She then topped it off by wearing a killer black pair of booties, which is great for simple or fancy occasions, like going out with friends or a productive day in the city.

This fall will be all about fringe so make sure to invest on your fringed clothes and accessories to be right on trend this season, just like the Fashionista I spotted on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I consider my style as urban cool. I do not follow any trends or mainstream rules. I follow my attitudes, my personality and thoughts. Fashion for me is to empower your individuality. My advice is to combine different and unique pieces, such as this maxi black fringe detailed vest, with ordinary ones so you can have a fun and stylish mix.”
