STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Falling for Maroon

As summer comes to an end, everybody on campus has been itching for the fall season. From PSL (pumpkin spice lattes) to sweater weather, everyone is preparing for the temperature to drop. Some days will start out at 65 degrees so a good pair of jeans or a long sleeved shirt is great.

The transition period from summer to fall can be a hard time to dress. The temperature fluctuates so much that one minute you could wear a sweater and the next minute you could wear a romper. That’s why all you need are cutouts and flowy fabrics. Flowy shirts or pants are perfect because they keep you nice and cool. Cutouts are also perfect because they expose enough skin to keep you cool and classy.

This Fashionista knows a thing or two about the weeks leading up to fall. She kept her fall inspired look simple, so adding additional accessories is easy. She is rocking a flowy shoulder bearing top with a pair of simple blue jeans. She accessorized this simple look with a pair of brown ankle booties and simple jewelry. This look also features a simple Alex and Ani bracelet that can go with any ensemble.

This Fashionista kept her hair simple and straight while spicing up the eye makeup with a copper fall hue. She finished off the look with a little lip gloss.

Seem too simple? Add a wide-brimmed hat or a pair of strappy sandals. If the weather permits, even add a jacket or scarf. Who knew fall could look this good?
