STYLE ADVICE FOR THE WEEK: Foliage, Flannels and Fringe!

October 13th, 2015 at 2:00am

Well hello beautiful, glamours, fall. The leaves aren’t the only things that are changing, so is the fashion. Even though it is still 70 degrees, it is time to pack away those strappy sandals and sundresses and bust out those cozy sweaters and boots. You can never go wrong with all-black, so I am loving this Fashionista’s dark look. My favorite part? Those three layer, leather, fringe boots. Fringe is definitely a huge trend this season. Designers such as Mara Hoffman and Ulla Johnson predicted this fall movement in their spring 2015 collections. Whether it’s on the hem of your sweater or the outer lining of your purse, fringe is definitely in. I also love colored knee-high socks to go underneath boots, they keep your feet warm and help separate the boots from the leggings.

With the erratic weather, this Fashionista’s waist-tied flannel, adds not only the perfect pop of color but also is great to throw on when the sun goes down. Graphic T-shirts add just the right amount of detail to a laid back style. Beaded bracelets are also getting more and more popular. They are coming back with the bohemian rhapsody trend and add the perfect touch to her outfit. The silver accents make her “Très Chic” top really pop.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK?:“Well fall is my favorite season because I get to layer! Nothing is better than throwing on comfy jeans and a T-shirt. Then you can style it up with layers like socks with boots and a flannel.”
