STYLE ADVICE: Casual Cool for Classes

One of my favorite parts about getting ready for class is picking out what I’m going to wear for the day. But class is also a time when I like to feel comfortable, especially since some classes are super long to sit through! Sometimes I feel like I have to choose comfort over style, but this fashionista shows us that you can look stylish and be comfy at the same time.

This Fashionista rocks the “casual cool” style for class, wearing her favorite high-waisted skinny jeans, a black and white striped top, and oversize maroon cardigan. She added trendy white Converse to pull her outfit together and to make her rush to classes more comfortable. She suggests dressing in layers for classes since some buildings and classrooms can be colder than others.

I love this outfit because it’s so effortless and simplistic, but could also be dressed up by changing the shoes to heeled booties and trading the cardigan for a dressier jacket. The black, white, and maroon combo is a great combo for the winter season as well.

She keeps the look simple by going for a natural, simple beauty look. The bold brows and soft mascara on her lashes draw attention to her blue eyes. She told me that she skips foundation and concealer all together, and just makes sure that her face is well moisturized. The simple topknot really pulls together the “I woke up like this… flawless” look, which is perfect for the student that’s always on the go.
