3 Things From 2024 Creators Loft That We’re *Still* Talking About

College Fashionista’s Creators Loft (aka the coolest IRL influencer event for fashion-obsessed Gen Zers) returned for another season, and the fashion was fashioning! CF community members came to the Union Square fashion haven rocking the trendiest fits and ready to meet, network, and become BSFs with fellow style gurus from all over.

It was Creators Loft — of course, our outfits were a slay.

And we wouldn’t have expected anything less from *the* trendiest community.

Some fashionistas embraced the mob wife trend with pops of red, fur coats, and cheetah print, while others went for a classic corporate chic look with blazers, dresses, and suit sets. We also saw the community experimenting with trends that we’re predicting are going to be big for spring 2024, including sheer lace, utility clothes (think cargo pants, trench coats, and camo), pleated mini skirts, and patterned tights. And the number one trend we saw? Bows! (Duh!)

The pop-ups had us in a chokehold.

In between exchanging IG handles and swapping fashion advice with new friends, attendees had the chance to visit some incredible pop-ups at this spring’s Creators Loft.

The kate spade new york Borrow-A-Bag Bar (which, yes, was as cool as it sounds) let the CF community enhance their fits by renting a purse from the fab spring collection of kate spade new york for the weekend. Small bags with a floral print, color-blocked cube purses, and even an adorbs frog purse were up for grabs — but these ksny accessories are def some of our faves

After snagging a new bag, it was also an absolute must for our community to stop by the imPRESS Falsies Lash Bar to touch up their glam and find the perfect lashes for their vibe! The quick refresh is just what they needed after a busy day in NYC, and having new lashes got everyone ready for all of the photo ops at the Loft, like the headshot station, where creators could pose for a professional, up-to-date, headshot! Attendees could also hang out at the Creators Café to snag some freebies from the hottest brands and mingle with the other community members.

The panels were so girl-boss-coded.

Over the weekend, CF members, influencers, and influential women in the beauty and fashion industry led panels and covered a range of topics important to our communities. (Can you say main character energy???)

The weekend kicked off with the first panel hosted by Glowbar founder and CEO Rachel Liverman who shared her biz success story (and totally inspired us!) Then we got some great advice on ways to create a supportive community from Samantha Harper, Gen Z designer and founder of Harper Collective. The panel was moderated by Elisa Benson, who works at Instagram on the Partnerships team (aka all of our dream jobs, am I right?!)

After another inspiring panel about how to score and succeed in brand deals — which was led by our talented community — celeb MUA Renny Vasquez and EIC of Beautify.tips by Kiss Janene Mascarella took the stage to show us how to put imPRESS Press-On Falsies on like a pro! (Spoiler: it’s not as hard as you think!)

Saturday was filled with another lineup of icons speaking, including two panels with CF alumni Mary Kate Flock, Aiyana Ishmael, Venesa Coger, and Norah Murphy. The Her Campus social team led a convo about careers in social media (okayyy, that’s def another dream job!) which was then followed up with a panel hosted by kate spade new york. In the panel, ksny Manager of Digital Content Strategy and Influencer Relation Julia Weiner and creators Sarita Cuervo and Vivian Li explored and discussed how to take a break from social media when it’s your job.

Each day finished strong with music and dancing — and of course, editing allll the pics that were taken during the day!
