Off-Price, On Point

Creating high end, trendy looks that could go out of style in the next month can be tricky for college students. This is when I turn to off-price retailers such as T.J.Maxx and Marshalls. I know what you’re thinking, “I never find anything in there.” To be honest I only walk out of the store about 20 percent of the time with a bag in my hand. You have to check in at least once a week if not more if you want to get lucky! Off-price retailers are known for carrying high end brands and trendy look-a-like pieces for a fraction of the price you would find in department stores. Recently I have found brands like Free People, Joe’s, Romeo and Juliet, and even Lilly Pulitzer. You really can’t beat it!

My outfit is completely from T.J.Maxx from head to toe! I paired a baby pink off-the-shoulder top with ripped denim and lace-up heels. This off-the-shoulder top is perfect with jeans, shorts, or a cute skirt. I love how versatile and comfortable it is! I styled this top with ripped light denim Joe’s crops to make the look edgier and more casual. These jeans are great for warmer seasons because of how airy the holes make them and the light denim wash. Lace-up heels are perfect to make this look trendier. The chunky heel makes them surprisingly easy to walk in for a day on the town. No outfit is complete without accessories. I chose to pair this outfit with dainty gold jewelry and a statement watch. I found this Michael Kors wrap watch at T.J.Maxx for a steal and knew it would make the perfect summer accessory.

As frustrating as off-price retailers can be, they are worth stopping every week if you want to find a good deal. Plus, the hunt makes it that much more rewarding when you do find something you love.
