6 Not-So-Classic Nail Colors to Try If You’re Already Over Fall Hues

If you know me, you know I’m notorious for wearing the same dark nail polish year round. In the spring and summer I try to switch it up by wearing a lighter shade, but there’s just something about a dark nail that makes me feel put together. This fall however, I’m going to try something new. Instead of wearing my oh-so-typical dark polish and the season’s classic hues of red and nude, I’m going to spice things up with a millennial pink or a nail with a metallic finish. Now, If you’re anything like me and fear straying too far from your go-to polish, I suggest checking out one of the not-so-classic but not too daring fall colors below.

Bright But Not Quite Neon Pink

Bright pink is usually seen as a summer color, but who says the shade can’t be worn in the fall? Pink is just a lighter hue of red, so instead of opting for a classic red nail color this fall, try a bright pink that basically serves the same purpose.

Fun and Flirty Lavender

Another classic fall nail color is a deep purple. This season, switch it up and try taking the shade lighter by opting for a fresh lavender instead. It’s a fresh take on the season’s classic hue.

Season-Less Pastel Pink

The millennial pink trend is not going out of style anytime soon, so why not embrace it on your nails this fall? A pastel pink is a perfect way to do so! What makes this shade even better is it’s so light it can also function as a nude which means it can be worn during any season.

Glitzy Silver

Want to make a statement with your nails? Add some shine to them by choosing a sparkly silver instead of the seasonal classic matte gray. Not ready to go full on sparkle? Try to add some sparkle to just one or two fingers by creating an accent nail. You’re still guaranteed to make a statement.
