Here’s What Happened At College Fashionista’s Creators Loft 2023

Fashion’s biggest week is all about watching the best shows in New York City, networking with fellow style gurus, and this year, attending College Fashionista’s Creators Loft. ICYMI, CF hosted its in-person influencer event celebrating all those university trendsetters and CF members who deserve all the love and all the likes.

Taking place in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood, College Fashionista invited some of the best and brightest Gen Z CF community members to find a fashion haven at Creators Loft. Rocking ’90s minimalism and sleeveless business casual to wearing trending items such as denim maxi skirts and knee-high boots, every outfit was an absolute slay.

Wanna know what you missed out on? We are recapping the weekend’s events below for those that couldn’t make it out to Creators Loft. Consider your FOMO cured!

Panels, Panels, Panels

Creators Loft featured multiple panels for up-and-coming influencers. Two Her Campus Media/College Fashionista alumni, Gigi Robinson and Sofi of @the_odditty, talked about building (and being) your own brand to a room of eager listeners. Another panel, featuring Izzi Allain — aka @izzipoopi — touched on mental health, work-life balance, social media growth, and beyond.

Attendees sat in on an intimate conversation between Her Campus Media’s own Hannah Masten, Aryanna Morgan, and Julianne Skrivan, who discussed how to “Get Your Bag” and get paid for your content with brands. And finally, the weekend concluded with a panel of inspiring CF alums Maryam Saad, Laurise McMillian, Paige DiFiore, Liv Schreiber, Ali Stagnitta, and Samantha Sybo, who all have gone on to secure dream jobs since being members of CF. We can’t help but be obsessed with each and every one of them.

The kate spade new york Bag Wall

If you didn’t see the kate spade Borrow-a-Bag wall on your feed this weekend, you must not have been on Instagram too often. This wall offered the perfect accessory for all attendees to borrow for the weekend and make their fashion dreams come true.

Hair & Skin Pampering

Taking care of your skin and hair is a major part of building your brand online. Luckily, College Fashionista teamed up with TRESemmé to offer a must-need during fashion’s biggest week — a touch-up hair bar for attendees to get a quick fix with TRESemmé hairspray, mousse, and more from a hair care professional.

Plus, attendees got to learn more about their skin with the CeraVe Skincare booth. CF members even got to hear from dermatologist Dr. Nkem Ugonabo MD, MPH who shared skincare tips as well as what it means to “put your best face forward.” Basically, confidence is so important for career and personal growth.

Of course, CF members in attendance were treated to hair and skincare goodies to take home. If you’re looking to boost your resume and launch your content creator career, follow College Fashionista on TikTok and Instagram, and stay tuned for future events that you can attend.
