BEAUTY BAR: Two-Toned Fringe

Jared Leto has fascinated us for several years with his memorable highlighter-hued locks; he has transformed his hair into several cuts and colors, from bright pink to green hair. Bright hair colors have been popping up on celebs and are all over Instagram. This trend has also graced college campuses because of its fun, quirky and carefree appeal. Neon hair colors have been around for quite some time, but like many fashion trends neon is back and has gone mainstream.

College is all about trying new things and changing up your look to find what works best for you. Fashionistas/os have been adorning their fringes, fros and hair with brightly colored hair chalks, semi-permanent dyes and temporary color sprays. Recreating the mermaid and merman hair trend by using vivid colors of the mysterious deep seas creatures, the ombre hair trend featuring highlights and color towards the ends of hair, and the bold and colorful rainbow hair trend that keeps everyone on their toes with its ability to evolve as a trend on social media.

While on campus, I got color envy from this Fashionisto’s hair. It revealed two-toned hues of pink and purple. His two-toned hair combo paired with his PacSun plaid button-down enhanced the color in his hair and the lighthearted pleasure of his look. The look was finished with a white shirt underneath the button-down, a pair of shorts and a pair of Nike sneakers.

Don’t be afraid to try something fun and extravagant with your hair! It will surely catch everyone’s attention.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To complete this look you’ll need to pick your poison,  a hair dye, hair chalk or hair spray that complements your hair texture and is within your budget. This Fashionisto used Adore semi-permanent hair color to achieve his hair colors. There are various options available when tackling bright hair color. Temporary bright colors can be successful accomplished using hair chalk, hair color sprays and hair color creams.
