BEAUTY BAR: Come to the Dark Side

As this fall semester draws to a close students at the University of Central Florida are desperately trying to get into the holiday spirit and trying to find ways to incorporate winter fashion trends into their wardrobes. We have 80 degree days in December, so we have to get creative when it comes to finding ways to wear holiday styles. Some students wear ugly Christmas sweater T-shirts or Santa hats, but this Fashionista chose a more subtle approach.

Even though it is still warm outside, this Fashionista found ways to incorporate darker makeup into her look. She is wearing a very fashionable and on-trend pinky brown lipstick. For her eyes she chose rose tones and winged black eyeliner. To add some warmth to her face, she applied a light pink blush. This is a perfect example of a cold weather look.

To offset the chilly vibe of her makeup, this Fashionista chose to wear a bright dress. Instead of wearing sweatpants during finals week, this Fashionista chose to wear stylish and professional outfit to help her feel confident and ace her exam. She paired her look with a gold monogram necklace and a pair of sunglasses with gold detailing.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: Looking for winter makeup inspiration? Look no further! Take inspiration from this Fashionista’s look. Apply two rose-toned eyeshadows. You should apply the lighter one all over the lid, and the darker one in your outer crease. To finish the look, apply some black winged eyeliner and a brownish pink lipstick. Voila! You are now all set to take those family holiday photos!
