Fall is a season full of colors. One of the true indications that fall is in full force is the beautiful changing of leaves. Not everyone is lucky enough to live in an area where you can experience such a beautiful transformation in nature, but there is one other way to experience the true colors of fall: the perfect lipstick shade.

The greatest thing about lipstick is that no matter your budget, you can always find a great formula and color within your price range. Whether it’s an affordable NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream or the infamous Rouge Louboutin lipstick, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! My go-to dark lipstick for fall is the one and only “Hang Up” from MAC. This lipstick has a beautiful crème sheen finish and feels great on my lips!

Unlike a dark lipstick, you should be cautious while picking out the perfect nude shade. Since there is no single definition of nude, it can be tricky finding the perfect nude for you! When shopping for nude lipstick, it is necessary that you stay away from shades that are too light or too close to your natural skin color. The dreaded “concealer lips” will do the exact opposite for your makeup look than what you’d hope for. A great trick in finding a nude lipstick is to choose one with pink or brown undertones.
The great thing about dark lips and barely-there nude lips is that they look great with many makeup looks. You can pair both nude and berry tones with a bold eye or a fresh face!
