That’s it, Fashionista/os! Another year in the books. I can’t believe my freshman year at Fordham came and went so quickly, and even worse, my first semester as a Style Guru. I have learned so much about Fordham fashion and the trends on campus in this past semester. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to share it with the CollegeFashionista community!

As finals week came to a close, I spotted this Fashionista headed to the library for one last study-sesh. It was a gorgeous day in The Bronx, and she absolutely glowed in this perfect spring look. The focal point of the outfit, the skirt, really made her stand out amongst the crowd of “I just pulled an all-nighter”-type outfits. I mean, go Rams and all, but a Fordham sweatshirt on a beautiful spring day? Really? Anyways, this Fashionista’s skirt really caught my eye with it’s loud, but classic pattern. She paired it with a plain white V-neck shirt to really let the skirt shine.

This Fashionista accessorized with simple metal bangles and a brown leather watch. The neutral tones of the watch with the mixed metal bangles dressed the look up a little bit, but not overbearingly so. On her feet she wore plain tan flip flops, and accessorized her turquoise nails with a cute little toe ring. This Fashionista absolutely killed it with this look, keeping it fresh and appropriate for spring, while managing to stand out in a crowd.

How To: Tired of wearing the same old cut-offs? Invest in a patterned skirt that’s perfect for any summer occasion. Pair the skirt with a solid tank top, crop top or T-shirt, throw on a few subtle pieces of jewelry, and you’ll be good to go!
