ALL IN THE DETAILS: Season-Less Fashion

As the colder days approach us, I became intrigued with a new trend many Fashionista in NYC, London and Milan are representing. Strategically, designers all over the world are coming up with what is newly known as season-less piece in the fashion industry. Designers are focusing on patterns and textures that can be worn smoothly throughout every season. This was all a result of unpredictable weather and economic distress. These designers are working on items that can be layered, combined and mix-matched on to a perfect outfit. It’s fascinating how we as Fashionistas are challenge by economics and the weather’s unpredictable patterns. The big questions follow. Do seasons really matter? Do they really exist anymore?

Kierra Wilson will be giving us all details on how she designs her outfits accommodating with the unpredictable weather, and which are her most worn pieces through out every season. This Fashionista tells us that it all depends on your style and with what you like to identify yourself. For example, Kierra decided to stand out on colder days with a blue, striped button-down blouse that can be worn at any time and fitted blue jeans. On top, she decided to go with a beautiful burgundy faux fur vest that looked stunning. For shoes, she went all out and rocked her block-heel combat booties that were purchased at Target. What really stood out in this whole look was the flawless dreads in a bun she wore. I fell in love.

Kierra mentioned that the combat booties, the blue jeans and stripe blouse are her all seasons favorite. Apart from comfortable, I’d say this look was a complete 10! It couldn’t had been any more well designed. The combinations of colors and mixed patterns were very strategic. This winter, the faux fur coats, burgundy and black chunky heel boots are going to make it into the top charts in the fashion industry. That is my prognostication, of course. The challenge is accepted—let’s welcome the colder days with style and lots of furry coats!
