Hello Fashionistas/os! Spring is in full effect here in Corvallis, Oregon and we are thoroughly enjoying those strong sunrays. I caught this Fashionista walking around downtown while sipping on an iced latte. She was rocking some staple pieces for this spring that are noteworthy in my book. Although we are in 2016, that does not mean we can’t bring back some of those groovy ‘70s vibes.
This Fashionista was sporting a floral midi dress that is pleated from the waist down. The high neckline is very trendy right now with the keyhole detailing in the chest area. Although the dress is darker in color, the bright floral pattern brings the dress to life and makes a great transition piece from winter to spring. Her Steve Madden heeled sandals give this look a casual and cool vibe without being too formal.
The accessories of this outfit make the entire look come together beautifully. Her burgundy Kate Spade bag gives the outfit a chic and sophisticated touch, as do her Alex and Ani bracelets. The stacking of the bracelets is very trendy and gives the outfit a fun and flirty feel, while the gold of the bracelets perfectly complements the gold detailing on her purse. For a final touch, this Fashionista added a pair of rounded sunglasses that complete the retro vibe and makes for a simple and practical accessory for a sunny day.
