ALL IN THE DETAILS: Popping Into Spring

If you know me, then you know that there is nothing I love more than bright, bold pops of color. It is my go-to, statement-making style trend. One of my absolute favorite parts of this trend is that it is seriously so easy to do. From bold pants and tops, to bright accessories, there is an endless amount of opportunities. I am definitely partial to neon colors as a statement of choice, but you can use bold patterns and get the same amazing result.

The pop of color trend is especially popular now, in the spring, when designers are releasing their spring lines full of bright colors and hot patterns. Rebecca Minkoff and kate spade new york are just two designers embracing the bright spring color palette to aid us all in our color popping necessities.

This Fashionista nails the color popping technique with her hot pink kate spade new york cross-body bag. I have to admit that when I saw her walking with this bag, I knew I needed to stop her. Once I got up close I knew she was the perfect Fashionista for this trend, her outfit was a complete spring statement. I loved how she paired a basic white T-shirt with some navy polka-dotted pants to create an easy going, yet evolved look. Her beaded sandals were the perfect addition to keep this look in spring fever. To complete her look, she had some simple silver jewelry, such as rings and flower shaped earring studs.

I absolutely love this look because it gives you an idea of how easy it is to add a statement piece to your look. If you don’t want to go for the bright bag then you can choose some skinny jeans with a fun pattern!

How To: If you’re a simple, style-loving kind of person, spice up your wardrobe with some pops of pattern or color. If you tend to be apprehensive on the neon colors (which I 110 percent advocate for!), then start off simple with a bright sandal or printed skinny jean. Now, if you’re looking for a jaw-dropping statement, find a bold patterned bag with bright colors or some bright new wedges!
