You’re absolutely done with the exhausting nights of studying at the library for your dreadful finals. As you wake up from your nap and wipe the drool off of your face, you see a ray of sunshine peaking through the library window next to you. You can almost taste the freedom of spring break. With daylight savings in full spin, the days are getting longer, the sun is shining brighter and the clothes are getting shorter.

This Fashionista is wearing the perfect outfit to start off your spring break! The amazing thing about this Fashionista’s look is that not only is is extremely comfortable and breathable in the suffocating heat, it is also very affordable when you’re on that college budget. Fashion doesn’t have to be all about the big things. It can be about the many little things that makes the bigger picture. The details of this look is what makes it work so well!

Our lovely Fashionista is rocking a bright yellow romper that she found at a random boutique in Santee Alley! This color does wonders for her flawless skin tone and it really gives off that perfect spring break feel. Find a color that suits your skin tone the best, and believe me, you won’t regret it! Although this romper is very simple, the details of it makes it more than just a romper. This romper has a plunging back with delicate criss-cross straps. It is a cute way to stay cool in the heat. The romper also perfectly hugs her waistline and flares out for a more flirty look.

To match the yellow romper, she threw on some yellow shades from the Melrose Trading Post Flea Market. They have these type of shades in a myriad of colors for a very affordable price! She paired these fun shades with silver, lightning bolt earrings from Sorella Boutique on Melrose to fit the bright, light theme of the outfit.

Okay, let’s please talk about these beautiful strap-up sandals. The details in these pair of sandals are to die for! The salt and pepper styled straps, the delicate floral embroidery, and the criss-cross pattern of the straps, give these sandals and this overall look so much character!

Since spring and summer fashion doesn’t allow for layers and excessive accessories, try looking at the details in pieces when styling your outfits for spring break!
