ALL IN THE DETAILS: J's On Her Feet

September 11th, 2015 at 2:00am

September is here folks! That means fall is going to be knocking on our doors before we know it. Our sandals and flats will soon be pushed to the side, while our boots and sneakers become a main accessory. Vacation is over and school is back in session, which means it’s time for our feet to stop being in the sand, and start being on the move. Sneakers are perfect for this reason and for this season.  For the most part, I’m strictly a boot girl. However, I’m always looking for ways to be one of the kids with the pumped up kicks. For myself, I can never find the right balance with sneakers between comfort and fashion, so that’s why when I saw this Fashionista I was instantly impressed by how trendy she looked in her sneaker chic outfit.

Her Jordans feature some great fall-inspired colors that she works into other aspects of her outfit. Her knit top is that perfect trendy burgundy with black sheer panels on the shoulders that draw your eyes down to an edgy pair of black leather paneled leggings. This paneling effect is doing double duty by not only making this Fashionista look taller and slimmer, but also by drawing your eyes straight down to those killer shoes. This Fashionista is also rocking a bit of bling with her chunky statement necklace. The necklace complements the shoes perfectly with its burgundy, grey and gold colors.  Finally, she tops it all off with her gold septum ring and gold Hamsa hand stud earrings. These accessories take her sneaker edgy look to a different level of glamorous. She looks date ready in this ensemble, and also ready to beat you up if you don’t ask her out for a second.

How To: Don’t have the money to get a hip pair of Jordans? That’s okay! You can find a bargain pair of high top sneakers from Payless Shoes or Shoe Show. Don’t be afraid to try funky colors and patterns. Let your new shoes be the inspiration for the look you want to create.
