ALL IN THE DETAILS: Home for the Holidays

Going home for winter break is one of my favorite parts of college. Seeing all your friends, family, pets and, of course, doing some extra shopping with the parents. After this long, hard semester, this winter is all about relaxing for me. There’s nothing better than cozening up on the couch next to the fire with an old Christmas movie on and some knitted socks. With so much to get done in the winter, there’s no better way to do it than by being dressed comfortably and cute.

This winter my fashion focus is on over-sized sweaters and anything comfy. I love the idea of doing my holiday shopping efficiently, and to me that means wearing something I can bustle around the mall with ease in! This Fashionista is wearing the coziest outfit for just that. She’s pairing a neutral, over-sized sweater with a simple green V-neck to do her daily errands in. With comfort in mind, she’s wearing a knit pair of black pants and easy-to-walk-in white Converse! If it’s colder or snowing, the sneakers can easily be switched out with a cute pair of flat booties or even over-the-knee boots. She ties the whole outfit together while keeping it simple and comfortable with a braided black choker, to add some style and trendiness to this ideal outfit. That simple accessory makes this outfit so easy to transfer to whatever that day’s activity calls for!

This versatile look can go from lounging on the couch to meeting up with old friends for coffee with the switch of a pair of shoes! You will be comfortable all day and confident with this outfit, just in case you run into that ex-boyfriend from high school! This will be my go-to outfit all winter. I mean, who doesn’t like wearing an over-sized sweater during the holidays?
