ALL IN THE DETAILS: Fall Into Lace

Here we are again, going through the tricky time of the year when the seasons are changing. It is finally starting to feel like fall, well most days anyways. I know I’ve been dying for that cool and breezy fall weather, who else has? To me, that means I can break out the boots and show off those layers. There are so many different ways to show off your new fall clothes, but staying simple is always an easy one. It’s nice to keep things simple and have just a few detailed pieces to make the outfit pop even more.

This fall ready Fashionista chose to show off those fall colors in both her simple and detailed pieces. Her mustard colored sweater is perfect for the beginning of fall. Some days we just don’t know if it’s going to actually feel like fall or if we are going to be surprised with the hot sun beating down on us. This sweater from Target bought a size up to be worn as a dress works to combat both scenarios. Paired with the sweater dress is this Fashionista’s favorite pair of booties from American Eagle Outfitters. I know we’ve all been waiting for fall to roll around so we can all break out the booties. They are the perfect pair of shoes that can dress up an outfit just a bit more or could still keep it totally casual. Now for those details, she chose to add maroon lace tights which are also from Target. From afar you might not be able to notice that they are patterned with a few large flowers, but that is what makes them so great. It is a really detailed look that you have to pay attention to. This is the kind of thing that would make people take a second look, and who doesn’t like turning heads? She also chose to add a few gold accents to her look. Her one simple bracelet, silver and gold earrings, and even gold eyeshadow from the Urban Decay Naked2 palette really just pull her look together.

These last minute touches are all very simple and easy to pull off, but without them, her look just wouldn’t be complete. Fall into lace just as this cool Fashionista did by finding your own look and adding those important detailed pieces.
