We’re all familiar with the lingering chill that can creep up on a spring day. The weather app reads 60 degrees, but the breeze and overcast sky makes it feel ill-suited for shorts and a T-shirt.

This Fashionisto has perfected the art of putting together a look that will keep up with spring’s erratic temperature fluctuation while maintaining the cool-guy aesthetic.

The major star of this look, aside from this glorious Céline luggage tote, is the dark gray knit cape. What makes this piece extra special is its versatility. Because of its blanket scarf-like shape and cut, it can be fashioned in a few different ways. This Fashionisto decided to wear it as a classic shoulder wrap scarf.

His look is simple and clean-cut, which is something that goes a long way these days. The black jeans are a staple for any person’s closet, Fashionistas and Fashionistos alike.

He decided to pair his classic bottoms with a white graphic T-shirt. Instead of going for a T-shirt that boasted logos or funny sayings, this artsy take on graphics makes the piece a bit more timeless.

To finish the look off, he added a pair of aviator style sunglasses and a trusty pair of combat boots. Sunglasses are a must for spring and summer to keep your eyes protected from the sun. The glasses this Fashionisto chose are a black and gray tortoise shell, a trendy take on a staple accessory.

How To: Create a look from classic pieces and spice it up with accessories. To combat a spring chill, add a knit wrap to the look–you’ll look super posh and it can always double as a blanket for frigid air-conditioned classrooms!
