The transition from sundresses and mini skirts to chunky sweaters and leggings can be a drastic change, but our Fashionista has created the perfect casual look for a cool fall afternoon on campus.
Coupling a hooded denim jacket with sweatshirt sleeves from Express and a pair of black high-rise jean leggings, our Fashionista knows exactly how to capture the essence of this upcoming season. Her look is easy, yet flows well with the accessories she pairs with it. The white tank top allows for the attention to be focused primarily on her jacket, the statement piece for this outfit, while the cut of her high-waisted jeans is well defined. Although the jacket is long enough to cover the waistline of the jeans, when looking at the Fashionista where the jacket opens in the front, it is easy to see how well its high wasted nature complements her body type. Likewise, her shiny, black slip-on sneakers mesh well with her style as they continue the neutral tones set forth by the rest of her ensemble. Her Coach clutch is an added bonus.
The different shades of denim contrasted against one another, especially where her jacket meets her jeans, creates a timeless look that doesn’t fail to catch our eye. To complete this seasonal outfit, our Fashionista paired her classic silver Tiffany heart pendant with silver bangles to bring out the buttons that lined the center of her jacket. While any jewels could have gone well with such a trendy get-up, she chose to keep her colors in the same family to really accentuate their hues. Though our Fashionista chose to wear this look more casually, it can also be dressed up with a pair of booties or chunky heels and a matching infinity scarf for a fun night out with friends.
