STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Be Free

My favorite part about spring is the freedom of style it brings. No longer being forced to bundle up in layers to survive the cold weather and not having to worry about dressing comfortably for 100 degree temperatures allow us to literally wear whatever we want. We can dress in layers or rock a sundress with boots; we can wear ripped jeans and a T-shirt or an oversized sweater with cut-off shorts. I spotted a Fashionista on campus dressed in a free-spirited, bohemian ensemble with an effortless style and I just had to get a closer look at her outfit.

This Fashionista wore a striped off the shoulder T-shirt. Her leopard print camisole layered underneath her shirt added a subtle, but perfect mix of prints to her look. Over top of her T-shirt she wore a long gray cardigan, which was the piece that really caught my eye. A long cardigan such as this one is ideal for days on campus. It can keep you comfortable and complement just about any denim and T-shirt combination, as shown by this Fashionista.

Destroyed jeans are always my go-to pants, especially jeans in a light wash. Showing a little skin, whether it be through the rips of jeans or an off the shoulder shirt, creates a more free style than being completely covered up. This Fashionista combined both of these elements along with her sandals she wore for shoes.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “It’s finally spring, so be free with your style! Mix and match your favorite free-flowing pieces and complete it with a long cardigan.”
