ALL IN THE DETAILS: Cool And Casual

It is finally time to go back to school!  The time to bring out your favorite old jeans and your favorite pair of New Balance sneakers. The time of in-between where fashion is at its peak. Whether it’s the end of summer or the beginning of fall, the end of winter and the beginning of spring, they are the best times to mix and match. It’s perfect for throwing on a trench style cardigan with high-waisted shorts or knee high Hunter Boots with your favorite spaghetti strap tank.

In the first few days of September when all-white outfits are still alive and well, I photographed one of my favorite Scottie’s sporting her best casual end-of-summer wear. Topped with a medium taupe bomber jacket, this Fashionista stayed cool in the Atlanta heat wearing a casual low neck white T-shirt,  jeans and a pair of black and white Vans which tied up her look. In a simple casual outfit like this one, heavy jewelry isn’t needed. This Fashionista sprinkled on gold trinkets that complemented this look perfectly.

It is such a breath of fresh air when you can finally master the days of extreme seasons. The versatility in today’s fashion makes it so easy to morph different aspects of different trends into your own unique style. So be daring and chic as we trickle into my favorite season. And though we’ve officially said goodbye to August, don’t fret! Rock your cutest couture next time you find yourself bewildered of what to where in the in-between.

How To: If you’re not sure what color to choose when purchasing a bomber jacket for a transition in season, try the color black. It is a color that is universal and easy to pair up with anything!
