Hi everyone! My name is Michelle but all my friends call me Meesh! It is both sad and exciting to say that I have officially started my senior year at the University of Illinois. In the spring, fingers crossed, I will graduate with a major in Advertising along with a Business minor and a certificate in Public Relations. I’m still not exactly sure where I will end up after graduation but I know I love blogging and style so I can’t wait to share that with you all this semester.
I would generally describe my style as classic casual. I like the clean lines but I also love a relaxed feel. My closet is mostly made up of neutrals but I love to bring in pops of color with shoes and especially with purses. Right now, I am all about the denim on denim, it’s cool, causal and comfortable.
Speaking of denim on denim, that is what this look is all about. Lately I’ve been living in my Abercrombie & Fitch boyfriend jeans. I like the loose and relaxed fit, but it is denim, so it still has that classic feel. They are perfect to wear to class because I can still look nice but am comfortable for the long days on campus. The tank top under the chambray shirt is a nice break in the denim and my high-tops fit right in with the casual feel. I like to keep it simple with accessories so I’ve just got my Etsy watch to keep me on time, and a few bracelets from my travels.
I can’t wait to bring you all lots of looks and style tips from the University of Illinois this semester. It’s going to be a RAD fall.
