Hello Fashionistas! Spring has sprung, flowers are starting to bloom and the air is getting warmer! Spring is so fun because color starts coming back into my wardrobe. Bright colors and pastels scream spring to me. And florals for spring? Groundbreaking. This outfit was inspired by the Zuhair Murad spring 2016 couture collection. The collection featured a lot of muted tones, pastels and floral accessories.
For my Zuhair Murad inspired look I choose to wear a light pink dress with a cinched waist. This is a really versatile dress, however, for this particular day, I kept it pretty simple. You could style this dress so many different ways. If I was going to wear this out at night, I would probably pair it with a leather jacket and heels and add more necklaces. When I was deciding what jewelry to pair with this outfit I wanted it to be a really minimal, clean, simple look so I choose my initial necklace instead of a larger statement necklace.
Since the warm weather is finally returning, I have broken out my gladiator sandals—my summer staple. During the summer I pair them with almost every outfit I wear. They are comfy and easy to style with almost any outfit. These particular sandals are better for dresses in my opinion though because of their height.
One trend that is not particularly a fashion trend but a beauty trend, is bold lips. It is the final touch to my outfit that just brings it all together in my opinion. Bold lips are perfect for simple outfits because it adds another pop of color to your outfit!
