Ah February, the month of love. Valentine’s Day is not far away and my list of possible Valentines keeps growing. With Ryan Gosling on top of that list, I have a feeling I am setting myself up for disappointment. Now that I have accepted that fact, I have realized the next best date is this fabulous jumpsuit. I think it is better than any date I could ever get! Excluding Ryan Gosling, of course.
Lately, I have been into layering winter clothes with more summer pieces. This outfit is the epitome of such an idea. I am wearing my grandma’s cashmere sweater which is oh so soft and the perfect shade of red for the upcoming holiday. I just bought my Valentine, I mean the jumpsuit, in D.C. and I have been dying to wear it and thought it was a perfect match with the red turtleneck. I threw on the denim jacket with some sneakers to dress the look down. This jumpsuit really updated my wardrobe. I can wear it so many different ways and create completely different looks.
I love this look because I think it is an alternative outfit for the season. I always run out of things to wear by this time. I am sure that if anyone looked in my closet they would disagree with that statement. However, I know I am not alone! I just end up wearing leggings and a sweatshirt most of the time which is unheard of. Just kidding. Really though, this outfit gives me hope even in these cold, dark times. I am talking about the weather, nothing else people. I would suggest wearing this outfit for a fun date on the big day. Switch out the sneakers for some funky heels and a formal coat and you are ready for a night out on the town. It is amazing what one rocking piece can do! I am officially head over heels for the jumpsuit—looks like I’ve got myself a date!
