It is easily said that the Nike Roshe Run footwear collection is becoming more and more popular in both men’s and women’s trends. Inspired by the word “Roshi,” which means Zen master, this shoe is designed to be simple and versatile. The Roshe Run footwear can be dressed down or dressed up and is comfortable enough that it can be worn with or without socks. Who wouldn’t think this is a must have staple item in their wardrobe?

When I think back to when this shoe was first introduced in 2012, it was mostly just used as a performance shoe. This breathable and light weight sneaker correlated with that ideal perfectly. But after Nike released more assortment of various color ways and designs such as the limited edition City Pack, the Flyknit Roshe and the Roshe Run Yeezy color way, it was only then that it became a part performance and part lifestyle sneaker. All of a sudden, it can style many fashion cultures and style outside the gym.

So why are these sneakers a trend on college campuses? Well for one, Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey is known to be a commuter school. The NIke Roshe Run sneakers correlates with any wardrobe and this Fashionisto chose to pair the shoes with his comfortable style. He wears the fashionable footwear with a slick black and gray ensemble. In this cold weather, this Fashionisto proves that you can look put together and have style with minimalism.
