Fore! Watch out, Fashionistas and Fashionistos. Looking good on the golf course is becoming just as important as playing well (sort of). Rickie Fowler recently made his move not only into the professional realm of the PGA, but the fashion world as well. With his irreplaceable orange pants, polo, hat and driver, Fowler inspired us all, on and off the course.
I love how this Fashionisto is up to par when it comes to playing with a pop of color, especially now that summer is on the horizon. His bright polo is extremely versatile because it can be worn either at school, around town on the weekend or on the course as well; the sporty, high-tech fabric lends itself to endless possibilities. He pairs it with relaxed shorts that get him through a day on campus and onto the driving range as well. This Fashionisto’s combination of black with a bright color is perfect because the dark accent allows his polo to be the focus of the outfit. It’s a brilliant move on this Fashionisto’s part to pair such a vivid polo with an understated color scheme so that the look doesn’t become too chaotic. Continuing his effortless cool vibes, he sports his go-to Rainbow Sandals, which are casual for school and easy to change out of and into golf shoes.
Although we may never be a professional golfer like Fowler, we can at least pull off his look and feel better about ourselves out on the course in bright, fun colors.
One Simple Change: To make the look appropriate for a nicer occasion on a golf vacation, swap out the shorts for a pair of khaki pants.
