WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

As Wiz Khalifa so excellently stated, “Work Hard, Play Hard,” and we students do just that.  The weekend has always been a much anticipated event for students.  After a long week of classes, midterms and studying, the brief hiatus of Saturday and Sunday is not wasted by the students of Wisconsin. UW-Madison students can be found anywhere from purchasing cheesy bread and flowers at the farmer’s market to rocking red and white ensembles at football tailgates. But no matter how you spend your days off a fun, easy outfit is essential for these festivities!

This Fashionista started her outfit off with fun polka-dot jeans and a cozy gray sweater.  The patterned jeans add interest to an otherwise simple look, while the sweater makes the outfit perfect for the cooler fall weather. The dark gray ankle booties are a cute addition that are great for walking around all day in.  To finish off the look, she added a pop of color in the form of a bright blue purse. This outfit is perfect for the weekend because it is comfortable and versatile.  This look can take you from walking around the farmer’s market to getting lunch with friends or even studying at the library.

One Simple Change: As the weather ultimately changes from fall to Wisconsin’s brutal winter, stay warm by layering on a camel-colored coat and a burgundy scarf.  Swap out the ankle booties for some fur-lined boots, grab a latte and stay warm on your weekends!
