WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

Spring has finally sprung! Time for fun, shopping and outdoor brunch in the sun. Finding the right transition pieces to wear during both subtle and dramatic temperature changes can be extremely frustrating. In the morning, you might need a coat or light jacket, but by the time you come out later in the day you’re sweating bullets! Balancing your layers with the most appropriate items is very important during this time of year.

This Fashionista was spotted outside a popular brunch spot as she was headed into a boutique next door. I love shirt dresses because depending on how you style it, it can be either a shirt or a dress. She incorporated a light bomber jacket into her spring outfit. The jacket is absolutely perfect for a strong breeze, but won’t make you sweat of this morning’s makeup. It is also easy to put in her Urban Outfitters tote bag if she no longer needs it later in the day. Pumas are a must-have for spring, whether it is a classic black and white pair or a bright yellow pair. Her bare face and high bun are simple and allow her to make many stops throughout her day without retouching makeup or fixing her hair.

One Simple Change: Did you forget that you promised your friends that you’d go out with them? Nothing to wear? Well, no problem here! Trade in your sneakers for a pair of knee-high boots to create an edgy girl’s night out look.
