WHAT TO WEAR: Warm Winter Weather Weekend

Everyone always wants a white Christmas, but let’s face it, too many winters we are left with little snow and end up having plenty of above freezing days. Often we are forced to pull out some fall clothing pieces and make them work in the winter. Olive green is such a common color for fall, but if pulled together correctly, it will be perfect for a casual weekend out when the winter weather is warm.

What I love about this look is that it looks so effortless and it’s clear fall pieces were taken into play. This Fashionista not only looks comfortable, but she’s also rocking so many trends.

The olive green light jacket adds the perfect amount of color to make this look pop. My favorite element of the outfit would have to be the striped sweater. Often, these are hard to pull off, but with the trendy black and white combination, it works. Both of these pieces are vastly different with the color scheme, but they give off a grungy, bohemian vibe. What really ties the look up altogether is the over-the-knee suede boots. This taupe color is not common and adds a nice touch.

From the back, this outfit looks completely different and perhaps with a few more accessories it could come together even more. The vintage looking ring looks perfect, so with a vintage statement necklace, the look would be a knock out.

This Fashionista truly knew how to strut her stuff on a warm winter weekend.
