Fall season is not just for sweaters and pumpkin spice coffees. Along with fall comes the excitement of football season across all college campuses. The anticipation rises on game days when all students get to go and experience not only the football games but tailgating as well. For most people it would seem easy to just throw on their team’s jersey and a pair of sneakers but never underestimate the power of a Fashionista/o. It is still possible to look stylish while supporting your favorite team out there.

This particular Fashionista goes to Florida State University and demonstrates that on game days you can still wear your team’s colors and look stylish. She chose to wear a garnet cotton dress with a dream catcher graphic on it and a pair of light brown cowboy boots. She accessorized with reflector Ray-Bans and a peach colored cross-body bag. The dress was an excellent choice. Not only is it comfortable and one of the school’s colors, but it’s also great for walking around tailgating in the hot Florida weather. Her choice to wear cowboy boots add a little Southern charm and reflect her personal style. Furthermore, her green reflector aviators add a pop of color to the outfit without clashing with the garnet dress. This Fashionista’s tasteful choices for a tailgating/game day outfit show that you can still express your sense of style and school spirit.

One Simple Change: If you want to take this outfit from stylish tailgating to fashionable for class, then change out the cowboy boots for some white Converse and throw on a jean jacket. The Converse are comfortable for walking and the jean jacket is perfect for those chilly classrooms and fall weather.
