WHAT TO WEAR: Library

Good news: We’re getting closer and closer to summer. Bad news: This means that our workload at school is more than it has ever been before. As the semester comes to a close, professors are trying to throw as much information as they possibly can into our brains. There are plenty of days when I want to just scream that my brain can’t possibly hold these hundreds of random facts. The weather is starting to stay warm and beautiful. All I can think of is summer until I sit back and realize I have an Italian exam, two papers and a project all do on the same day. During these last final months of classes, it’s only going to get more hectic. Finals are looming over students’ heads like an oncoming hurricane. We’re consuming coffee by the gallon and basically have inhabited the school library. I’ll be honest—with this increased workload, dressing cute isn’t on the top of my priority list.

There is something about going to the library that people equate with having to look like you haven’t slept in weeks. You hair must be dirty. You must be wearing sweats and you must have to look like you are on the verge on a breakdown any second. The library shouldn’t be like this. I’m not saying wear a pair of heels (even though I wore a pair one time and got major side-eye from every one in there). You can look chic and still be extremely comfortable.

This Fashionista is wearing an example of perfect library attire. She’s casually dressed but still looks stylish. Her oversized printed T-shirt is a great item to wear while doing hours of homework. She completes her outfit with a pair of jeans, woven sandals and the cutest tiniest necklace to ever exist. These items are all extremely relaxed, which makes this a flawless ensemble for the dreaded library.

As the semester comes to a close, try your hardest not to look like you are about to turn into a zombie. It’s important to stay alert and stay excited in all aspects of your life. Summer is just around the corner. You can do it!

One Simple Change: Her jeans are perfect for a day at the library. Swap them for a pair of high-waisted shorts to transform this look into something that can be worn on the weekend.
