WHAT TO WEAR: Girls Night Out

Now that the weather is turning cold and the holidays are quickly approaching, it’s very important to find an outfit that is cute but can also be warm. Iowa can be pretty chilly come November, so when you are out and about at night, a warm and comfortable outfit is key.

When you are at the club or attending a party with your girlfriends, you’re going to want to wear something cute, yet comfortable. Going out is the best time to try out any and all fashion trends that may be too bold to wear during the day.

This Fashionista opted for a long sleeved deep V dress to keep her cool for her night out on the town. This dress is perfect because it shows enough skin to stay cool at the club, but also has long sleeves for walking around outside. The wrap-dress trend has always been one of my favorites and it flatters so many different body shapes. The deep V shows just enough skin for it to be great for a night out on the town.

She paired this flowy dress with a pair of strappy black heels to take it from casual to a perfect going out look. These chunky heels are perfect for dancing and a night out on the town because of the heel height. They are very comfortable and easy to walk in and get down in.

For accessories, this Fashionista wore a gold metal choker for a more “bad girl” look. Chokers are the perfect way to dress up any outfit and take your look to the next level. She also paired this look with a pair of reflective sunglasses for when the sun is setting. These Dior look-alike sunglasses are great for anyone who may be a little scared to try any funky eyewear. They can take any look and make it look 100 times more put together.

She finished off the look with two braided ponytails and a pop of purple lipstick.

If the weather is too chilly, add a leather jacket to finish off this look. You and your girlfriends will be ready for the perfect “GNO” with this outfit.
