WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

October 11th, 2016 at 2:00am

How quick the seasons have changed, bringing on cold, Chicago winds. This is the time of year that you transition from your summer to fall wardrobe. As the temperature drops, you don’t have to sacrifice your personal style to stay warm. There are so many layering options to choose from to truly make your style unique.

This Fashionista looks fabulous in her stylish fall attire. Her outfit is simple yet polished. The neutral colors of her jacket and top contrast well with her gold accessories and ombre hair. Her beige top has many interesting design details in it. It has a slit up the sides and an open keyhole back which shows off her lace bralette, which is a fairly new trend. This knit is a perfect transitional piece. She has paired the top with medium-dark wash skinny jeans which she cuffed to keep things modern. Cuffing the pants highlights her tan ankle boots. Of course you can’t be fully dressed for fall without a jacket. This black wool jacket with a waist belt is a nice lightweight option. It has gold buttons which go well with the gold and black jewelry that really tie this look together. This Fashionista opted for a very natural and fresh-faced makeup look. A minimal makeup look helps her outfit and hair stand out.

The jacket makes this outfit look dressy because of the flounced lapels and feminine silhouette. This look can be taken from dressy to casual by switching from the jacket to a thick wool cardigan. That would be the perfect fall look for class and she would still be cozy.
