WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

As the leaves change color, it’s finally feeling like fall in Toronto. The Ryerson quad is surrounded by piles of leaves and students with a serious game of campus style. Like this Fashionisto, who wore some cool casual attire and raked up some style points.

Up north, fall is definitely a pre-cursor to winter. It gets us to play with layers more and prepare for the bone-chilling temperatures. So, don’t forget to add another layer by wearing a jacket. This Fashionisto chose a black bomber jacket which can go well with any fall outfit. It’s a versatile jacket that beats the freezing winds and it complements the layered seasonal look. Just because the leaves are changing colors doesn’t mean you have to. During fall, we tend to wear darker colors so in addition to black: green, navy and maroon bombers are classic options for both Fashionistas and Fashionistos.

Yes, cozy sweater weather is upon us. Underneath the bomber, this Fashionisto kept it neutral with a gray cotton sweater. On a fall afternoon, nothing compares to wearing a snug sweater, drinking warm apple cider and listening to Ben Howard.

This Fashionisto completed his look with a pair of light-washed Levi Brand Jeans. The dapper Vans are true to his skater aesthetic and they aren’t the typical styles you see everyone wear. Overall, his casual look is a clean-cut and stylish which is perfect to wear for a class or errands.

One Simple Change: Dress with the weather in mind. If it gets colder, add a few accessories such as, fisherman beanies, scarves and mittens. Fall is the season of accessories because they look slick yet, feel cozy.
