WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

It’s a few weeks into fall semester, and it’s finally starting to cool down. Sure, hot weather is nice during the summer when you can go to the beach, lay by the pool or sit in an air conditioned home…but when it’s time for classrooms with a single fan blowing, I think most students would agree weather under 70 degrees is preferable. Fall is when people start to break out their cardigans, boots and jeans, and make comfy clothes look stylish. This Fashionista is doing just that with this look.

Everyone is getting excited for fall; leaves are changing, apple/pumpkin picking is right around the corner and the weather is cooling down. This Fashionista makes comfy and cute go hand-in-hand—the perfect look for a cool fall day in Upstate New York. This camouflage jacket with gray sweatshirt sleeves is perfect for a day of apple or pumpkin picking; it’s comfortable without being lazy! V-neck shirts and skinny jeans are always good constants when it comes to fall wear—they go with everything with little effort. This Fashionista completed her military-chic look with combat boots, which complement the outfit nicely. She might be wearing white after Labor Day with her small cross-body bag, but most people will say that rule is old news now!

One Simple Change: Going from a day of corn mazes and hayrides with your family to a night out with your friends? Accessorize with a long necklace to complete the outfit and dress it up a little with an easy switch!
