WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

We all know Wisconsin weather is unpredictable and we are lucky to get a few months of fall weather before being bombarded with winter parkas and Sorel snow boots. Students are still adjusting to their hectic school schedules but that doesn’t mean that style has to go out the window.

This Fashionista obviously still makes time to put a little thought into her outfit before she hits State Street to run a few errands to get prepared for the new semester. As I’ve said before, distressed jeans will always be one of my favorite pieces and she is looking stylish in her light washed ripped jeans from Urban paired with a funky T-shirt. Let’s face it, her shirt is stating what every college student is craving on the weekends and graphic shirts have been all the rage recently. Preparing for the cooler temperatures Wisconsin has begun to experience, she throws on a light black cardigan, a great staple piece to always have on hand. Staying comfortable and casual, she grabbed her black Vans lace-up high-tops, her new favorite footwear.

As for accessories, this Fashionista is keeping it simple with her Pura Vida bracelet and a gold belt to add a little metallic pop. The highlight of this ensemble though is the black felt hat that seems to be the “it” piece these days no matter what campus you are on. It is important to keep the outfit fun and simple when wearing a hat and she does just that. This Fashionista is able to run around Madison while looking comfortable and stylish!

Enjoy the fall weather in your favorite go-to pieces that are comfortable and stylish! You will surely rock the campus runway.

One Simple Change: Are Vans not really your style? Change out the high-tops for a pair of booties and you’ll be set to hit the town. Booties are my favorite footwear and will go great with any fall outfit this season!
