WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

It’s true that with fall comes the return of various beloved things: oversized sweaters, our favorite black booties, pumpkin spiced lattes, scented candles… the list goes on. However, fall also brings back one thing that we all quite frankly hate, reality. School, work, extra-curricular activities and errands. Who doesn’t dread waking up first thing in the morning just to be able to run around town to complete their oh-so-annoying to-do lists or go sit in classrooms and listen to professors go on and on for hours straight?

Now, speaking from experience, the one thing that always makes me feel better on these dreaded mornings is the thought of picking out a really cute outfit to make my entire day. For me, running errands is something that I always do in outfits that are casual yet chic, cozy and, above all comfy. The key to coming up with such outfits is to successfully mix and match basic pieces with a simple statement one that grabs the attention and gives the look its finishing touch and edge.

This Fashionista knows exactly what she’s doing. Her look is perfect for running errands, as it exerts a certain kind of elegance that is effortless and completely on point. She’s wearing a pair of light-wash ripped boyfriend jeans with a simple black tank top and an oversized gray knit sweater to block fall’s chilly weather out. Her choice of black Nike Roshe One sneakers is absolutely perfect, as they add comfort, ease and a sporty vibe to the outfit that makes it even more appropriate for running errands. Lastly, her classic black Chanel Boy bag, small diamond ring and watch with both gold and silver detailing add luxury to the outfit and give it the glam that makes it such an appealing and #RAD look.

Way to go, girl, you’re rocking it.

One Simple Change: Want to take the outfit up a notch to be able to wear it somewhere a bit more formal, like a brunch date with your girlfriends? Easy. Just trade the sneakers in for a pair of cute black booties and you’re all set.
