WHAT TO WEAR: Concert

There are few things more exciting than going to a concert of your favorite artist, especially after repeatedly singing along with them to the “most played” song on your iTunes library. After I go to a concert, I’ll relive my memories by watching videos, looking at pictures and wearing overpriced gear I bought at the venue. However, I’ll admit, I don’t always make my new favorite tee so fashionable. Concerts usually leave me exhausted, wanting to avoid all rules of style, throw on yoga pants and my T-shirt and call it a day. An inspiration to us all, this Fashionista put together the perfect (before or after) concert ensemble.

Who isn’t a fan of Beyoncé? To be honest, I’m not sure if I’ve encountered someone who isn’t. Whether it’s her style choices, unbelievable voice or ability to drop an album along with music videos out of the blue (seriously, how does she do it?), everyone can agree she is an inspiration. Encountering this Fashionista on campus, though, gave a bit of inspiration to me.

This Fashionista’s effortlessly cool outfit attracted my eye immediately. Perfect for being in the presence of Beyoncé, this student kept her outfit casual yet stylish. She tucked her non-traditional concert T-shirt into a pair of high-waisted light wash denim jeggings and sported low-top black Vans in order to prevent her feet from aching all night long. The jeggings are comfortable enough to dance in all night long at the concert, but keep you looking fashionable.

As for accessories, this Fashionista’s black and white bag complemented her outfit well and was a perfect fit for attending a concert. A tote bag is great not only for a concert, but also for class, and for the same reasons! The large size and ability to throw it over your shoulder means lots of room for snacks, books, phone chargers, etc. All of your necessities are easy to access!

One Simple Change: After the hype of your concert has dwindled down (I won’t judge you for however long it takes), this outfit is the perfect one for a day of classes. Throwing on a cardigan and a loose tank top will give the already casual ensemble a bit of formalness and flare!
