WHAT TO WEAR: Class

While most people are at a pause when it comes to summer, there are still many students have to take summer classes. As most students know, the campus becomes almost deserted. Classes are smaller, there are less people in the hallways and the Starbucks line no longer exists. But just because there’s not a lot people, doesn’t mean you have to necessarily dress down. This is a great chance for you to experiment with your style and, of course, stand out from your classmates.

When it comes to dressing for summer school, there are a lot of factors you have to consider. Is the room going to be sticky and humid, or is it going to be chilled? The type of clothing you wear during this time of year should be versatile, allowing you to withstand both sweltering and freezing classrooms.

This Fashionista shows us the perfect way to stay comfortable while being stylish in a classroom setting. She pairs a sleeveless salmon colored button-up with a pair of white floral pants. What’s great about her outfit is that she brings the focus to her printed pants while also wearing a very simple top, creating a balance between the two.

To finish off any outfit, a Fashionista knows that she needs to accessorize. Our Fashionista went all out by putting on the most colorful rings she owns. It’s summer, which means it’s time to leave all your neutral colors back in winter and bring out the colors. And of course, since it’s always sunny, you have to carry your sunglasses with you. Instead of wearing a basic wayfarer, our Fashionista chose to wear heart shaped sunglasses to finish off her look.

One Simple Change: If you’re planning on going out for the evening or even after class with your friends, consider bringing heels or white laced flats to create a more feminine charm instead of looking like you’ve been in class all day.
