WHAT TO WEAR: Celebration

Could you imagine starting your very own fashion line in your senior year of college? This girl has hustled hard and I am honored to feature this #girlboss in my CollegeFashionista article.

Now a graduate student, she is juggling classes, her teaching assistant position and running her fashion business. She is an international student from China who has big dreams and an incredible drive and now this Fashionista is celebrating her very first fashion show. She coordinated the entire show, casted models, received sponsored food, hired photographers—the works. With a little help from her friends and classmates, she pulled off an amazing first show.

She came prepared to the celebration with a killer outfit to represent herself and her brand. Her outfit features a black asymmetrical dress and a black cape jacket. Black keeps her look professional and sleek: a powerful combination for her big night.

The pop of blue in this Fashionista’s heels adds a bit of flare to her beautiful ensemble. You can’t forget about her fabulous accessories; her gold tiger bangle, electric blue nails and gold ring polish her fashion show look off.

One Simple Change: If you are a Fashionista that assists with fashion events like this, you may want a more internship appropriate look. The black ensemble definitely says you are ready for business, but maybe a more sophisticated and practical heel would be suitable. A classic black heel with a fun pair of tights will have you ready to rock your internship.
